Day 1

Shanghai   (D)

Upon your arrival our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center.

Day 2

Shanghai   (B, L, D)

Visits : Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan Garden

This morning take a trip to the Shanghai Museum. As one of the three most important museums in China, it has a large collection of bronze-wares. In the afternoon you will visit Yu Garden (Yu Yuan), an age-old garden where you can get close to traditional Chinese architecture, and the Old Street. In the evening, you will enjoy a fantastic acrobatic performance.



Lunch:A Ying Bao Restaurant
The restaurant is located at No. 239 Shanxi South Road, Huangpu District.

It mainly serves local Shanghai dishes, and is popular among local people for its braised food.

Day 3

Shanghai -> Xian   (B, L)

After enjoying your breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Xian. When you arrive, you will be transferred to downtown Xian. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, which is a huge state museum with modern facilities housing more than 300,000 items.

Day 4

Xian   (B, L, D)

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda

After enjoying your breakfast visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors. They were discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. This afternoon enjoy a leisurely visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most important historical sites in Xian. In the evening, you will enjoy Tang Dynasty singing and dancing performance.

Day 5

Xian -> Beijing   (B, L)

Visits : City Wall, Great Mosque

This morning visit the Great Mosque, an active place of worship, and then move on to see the Ancient City Walls. This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Beijing. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to the hotel.

Lunch:Jia San Guan Tang BaoZi Restaurant
The most famous of the Jia Brothers′ restaurants, the specialty dish is guantangbaozi, with a choice of beef, lamb, or three flavors -- lamb, mushroom, and prawn.

Day 6

Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Summer Palace

Today you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years.
After lunch, you will take a trip to the Summer Palace, which used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi. The site is dominated by Longevity Hill, and the Kunming Lake.Then you will go to Baiyunguan Temple – one of three ancestral places of Taoism Quanzhen from the Yuan Dynasty, founded in 739, it is located in Baiyun Road East, Fuxing Men Gate, Xicheng District. It’s the biggest TaoistTemple in Beijing. After the founding of New China, the national Taoism organizations, colleges, and research institutes such as the Chinese Taoism Association, Chinese Taoism College, Chinese Research, and Institute of Taoism Culture etc. were set up one after another in the temple. The temple is at the top of the ladder in the hearts of numerous Taoists. Meanwhile, it is a place of worship for a lot of believers and tourists in China and abroad for its richly intact Taoist relic collection.
Temple Fair is usually on the open ground in or near Baiyunguan temple, and is held only during the Spring Festival (Lunar Chinese New Year Around late Jan and early Feb). The Temple Fair, as a kind of social activity in China, originated in ancient times when people offered sacrifices to the village god, which later gradually evolved into a marketplace for people to exchange products, and a place for cultural performance. It is time to worship gods, and pray for their blessing. It is also a great time for Chinese people,and foreign tourists to have fun. All the traditional shows go on at the temple fairs, talk shows, banner shows, Kung Fu shows, lion shows, story-telling, comic dialogues, clapper talk etc. Farmers and merchants sell their farm produce, local specialties, and antiques, jade articles, flowers, birds and fish; craftsmen set up their stalls to show and sell their handicrafts and specialty snacks. We are sure you will see the true Chinese tradition and culture at the Temple Fair.  

Day 7

Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : The Great Wall of China, Sacred Road of The Ming Tombs

This morning we drive northwestwards to visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Badaling is the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, situated in Yanqing County about 50 miles (80 km) away from downtown Beijing. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location′s strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. In the afternoon drive to the burial site of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. Today you will visit Dingling and walk along the Sacred Road. This evening, you will taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous Roast Duck restaurant in China.



Lunch:LaoGen RenJia
