Day 2 - Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Summer Palace

Today you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace, which used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi. It is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water. Tonight we will enjoy a fantastic Chinese Kungfu Performance.

Dinner:Ba Guo Bu Yi
Beijing Ba guo bu yi Restaurant serves some of the heartiest and most authentic Sichuan fare in town with its traditional Chinese style decorations. Favorite dishes include dandan noodles in spicy peanut-sesame-garlic sauce, lazi jiding (chicken smothered by chilies), steamed fish served with chili-oil sauce and huiguorou (twice-cooked pork).

After breakfast we drive towards northwest to visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County, which is within the Beijing municipality. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location´s strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. In the afternoon drive to the burial site of 13 Ming dynasty emperors. Today you will visit Dingling and walk along the Sacred Road. This evening, you will go to taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous historied Roast Duck restaurant in China.

It is a nationwide franchised restaurant. It has interesting name and unique décor. Fish Head Pot is its house specialty; the price is depends on the size of the fish head. Its other dishes are also delicious.
Dinner:*Quan Ju De Restaurant (Fang Zhuang)
Quanjude is a time-honored restaurant for Beijing Roast Duck which is well known to all for its delicious taste.

Day 4 - Beijing -> Huangshan   (B)

Take a morning flight to Huangshan. Once you are in Huangshan city, you will be transferred to your hotel. Then go explore Tunxi old street which is a good place to buy local food and souvenirs.

Day 5 - Huangshan   (B, L, D)

After enjoying your breakfast explore Mt. Huangshan, its marvelous view and the heaven-like environment give the travelers the feeling of excellence.




Day 6 - Huangshan -> Shanghai   (B, L, D)

After enjoying your breakfast get up early and enjoy the sunrise at Qingliang Terrace or Lion Peak. In the afternoon explore the Hongcun Village, where the Oscar awarded movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was partly shot. Then you will be transferred to the airport and board the flight to Shanghai.

Day 7 - Shanghai   (B, L)

Shanghai Old Street

Visits : Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan Garden, The Bund

Today you will visit Yu Garden (Yu Yuan), an age-old garden where you can get close touch with Chinese traditional architecture. Then you will have a free walk around Shanghai Old Street. After having lunch pay a visit to the Bund and have a cruise trip on the Huangpu River, enjoying the charming view of the city.

The restaurant is located No. 239 Shanxi South Road Huangpu District. It mainly serves Shanghai local dishes. It is popular among local people for its braised food.

Day 8 - Shanghai   (B, L)

Visits : Shanghai Museum

This morning take half day trip to Shanghai Museum. As one of the three most important museums in China, it has a big collection of bronze wares. After having lunch enjoy a half day free at leisure.

The restaurant mainly serves Japanese Barbecue food.

Day 9 - Shanghai   (B)

After breakfast you will be transfered to the airport and take flight back home.
