Day 1

Beijing   (D)

Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center.

Day 2

Beijing   (B, L)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Summer Palace

This morning you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace, this used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi. It is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake This evening, drive to Beijing Red Theatre (a former workers’ club) to watch the Kung Fu Performance.
Lunch:Ze Yuan Jiulou
Ze Yuan restaurant is named in memory of Mao Zedong. Its general manager Wang Mingfu was a safe guard of Chairman Mao. He hired the two old chefs of the chairman as technology consultants. You will be able to taste Chairman Mao’s favorite food there.

Day 3

Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : The Great Wall of China, Sacred Road of The Ming Tombs

After breakfast we drive northwest to visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location´s strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. In the afternoon drive to the burial site of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. Today you will visit Dingling and walk along the Sacred Road. This evening, you will taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous Roast Duck restaurant in China.

Day 4

Beijing -> Shanghai   (B, L)

Visits : Temple of Heaven, The Bund


This morning you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors of the Qing and Ming dynasties conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvests. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing. You will firstly learn how to play Tai Chi in the Temple of Heaven, and then fly a kite there. Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art, also a kind of Kong Fu. And now a number of senior citizens exercise it every morning in parks to keep healthy. 

In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be taken to visit Nanjing Road, the Bund and then go through the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel (closed at 21:30PM) which is one of the top five attractions in Shanghai. Crossing the Huangpu River, it connects the Bund and Oriental Tower. You will board a small carriage which transfers you through the tunnel to the other end in a few minutes. During the journey, you will see changing patterns of electric and neon lights which are really eye-catching.

Lunch:Chu Wan Yuan The wood-furnished dining room, with its high beamed ceilings and tight squeeze of tables, exudes a tavern-esque aura that seems to tease out congeniality from all present, making for a lively atmosphere that borders on raucous.

Day 5

Shanghai   (B, L)


After breakfast you will visit Yu Garden (Yu Yuan), an age-old garden where you can get close to traditional Chinese architecture. Then you will be free to walk around Chenghuangmiao Market. After having lunch, take your time to visit Jinmiao Tower which is considered the symbol of the city, and the second highest building in Shanghai. Then you will visit the modern skyscraper, Shanghai World Financial Center. Lastly, you will experience the Shanghai Maglev Train with a length of almost 30km, and traveling from Longyang Station to Pudong Airport Station. The whole journey will only take eight minutes and it is the first maglev train designed for taking passengers around the globe. After that, you will be taken back to the hotel.


Lunch:A Ying Bao Restaurant
the restaurant is located No. 239 Shanxi South Road Huangpu District. It mainly serves Shanghai local dishes. It is popular among local people for its braised food.

Day 6

Shanghai -> Guilin   (B, L)

Visits : Wave Subduing Hill (Fubo Hill), Reed Flute Cave(Lu Di Yan),the Most Popular Karst Cave on Earth

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Guilin. In the afternoon visit the historic Fubo Hill and Reed Flute Cave.

Lunch:Guilin QianShui Wan Restaurant
This restaurant is located in city center,west of the liberation bridge .You can enjoy a good view of Li River and Seven Star park.

Day 7

Guilin -> Yangshuo -> Guilin   (B, L)

After breakfast take a four-hour cruise along the picturesque Li River which is embraced by numerous karst hills. Lunch is served onboard before arriving at Yangshuo, a small town set in the lush rice paddies and surrounded by meandering rivers and limestone peaks. This afternoon you will have free time to explore Yangshuo. Then you will be transferred to Guilin by private car.

Day 8

Guilin   (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport and take flight back home.
