This morning we drive towards northwest to visit the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Badaling is the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China, approximately 50 miles (80 km) northwest of urban Beijing city in Yanqing County, which is within the Beijing municipality. The portion of the wall running through the site was built during the Ming Dynasty, along with a military outpost reflecting the location's strategic importance. The highest point of Badaling is Beibalou, approximately 0.63 miles (1,015 m) above sea level. This afternoon switch to Ming tombs and visit Changling. ChangLing is the largest and best preserved of the 13 Ming Tombs near Beijing. ChangLing, 4km from the entrance, is the tomb of Emperor YongLe (reign 1403-1424) and empress XuShi. The layout is identical to the tomb of the first Ming emperor in Nanjing and is rather like the Forbidden City in miniature. In addition to the palace, there is an underground burial chamber.

After enjoying your breakfast you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. In the afternoon you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvest in Qing and Ming dynasties. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing.

Day 4 - Beijing -> Xian   (B, L)

Visits : The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Great Mosque

Today you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Xian.

In the afternoon you will visit the Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in China. Then walk along the old streets of the Muslim area and visit the Grand Mosque.


Day 5 - Xian   (B, L)

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, City Wall

Today visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. In the afternoon go to Xian City Wall - one of the best preserved in China.


Day 6 - Xian -> Kunming   (B, L)

Today you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Kunming.

After lunch enjoy a half day free at leisure.






Day 7 - Kunming   (B, L)

Visits : Stone Forest, Kunming Flowers and Birds Market

Today head for Lunan County to visit the Stone Forest, a UNESCO geological park situated 78km away from Kunming. This afternoon visit a Sani minority village as well as a bird and flower market.


Day 8 - Kunming -> Lijiang   (B, L)

Visits : Qiongzhu Temple

Today visit the Dragon Gate and Bamboo Temples. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Lijiang.




Day 9 - Lijiang   (B, L)

After breakfast we visit the Black Dragon Pond and wander the old town.The ancient town of Lijiang, with its canals and quaint mysterious streets has been enlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.


Day 10 - Lijiang   (B, L)

After enjoying your breakfast visit the Naxi Baisha village as well as the Yufeng Monastery. After having lunch devote your time to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Consisting 13 peaks, it is the southernmost glacier in the Northern Hemisphere.

Day 12 - Lijiang -> Kunming -> Guilin   (B, L)

Today you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Kunming.

After lunch get on the flight to Guilin on your own.




Day 13 - Guilin -> Yangshuo   (B, L)

This morning you will take a ship from Guilin to Yangshuo. After having lunch you have the opportunity to take a bike along the Yulong River and visit a local village
The lunch is served on the boat before we arrive at the small town of Yangshuo.

Day 14 - Yangshuo -> Guilin -> Hong Kong   (B, L)

After breakfast you have the opportunity to take a bike along the Yulong River and visit a local village. After having lunch you will be transferred to Guilin by private car. get on the flight to Hong Kong on your own. depart for the airport and bid farewell to China.
