Day 2 - Beijing   (B, L, D)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square

After enjoying your breakfast your first visit is Tiananmen Square which is a site of historic significance for China. It is the biggest city square in the world, alive with local kite filers and wide-eyed tourists from out of town. Later, you will move to Forbidden City. Also known as the Imperial Palace Museum or Gugong, the Forbidden City was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties carried out their administration and lived. You can see the great traditional palace architecture, enjoy the treasure kept in the palace, and learn of the legends and anecdotes about the imperial family and the court.
Later, you will pay a visit to explore some of Beijing's old Hutongs-the traditional courtyard residences cut into blocks by narrow alleyways. Here you will visit a local family. Later, head to Lama temple which is the most important Buddhist temple in China. Be picked up from your hotel at about 18:30pm and driven to Liyuan Theatre. Our English-speaking guide will lead you in. Enjoy Beijing Opera at a good seat, from 19:30pm-20:50pm. Now you can appreciate some classic episodes, performed by professional opera artists. At the end of the show, send you back to hotel.

Beijing Ba guo bu yi Restaurant serves some of the heartiest and most authentic Sichuan fare in town with its traditional Chinese style decorations. Favorite dishes include dandan noodles in spicy peanut-sesame-garlic sauce, lazi jiding (chicken smothered by chilies), steamed fish served with chili-oil sauce and huiguorou (twice-cooked pork).

This morning you will join in Seat-In-Coach Tour to visit Mutianyu Great Wall and Changling Tomb. The Mutianyu Great Wall is well preserved with spectacular view and snakes over the green hill countryside outside of Beijing. Just like a Gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers(4,163 miles) from east to west of China. After lunch you will visit Changling Tomb which is one of the Ming Thirteen Tombs. It is the Tomb of Zhudi, the third emperor of Ming Dynasty.After you will be transferred back to your hotel for rest.

Day 4 - Beijing   (B)

Visits : Beijing Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven

Today you will explore Beijing by public transportation--Subway. Take the subway from your hotel to Summer palace. Equally famous as the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace is called 'Yiheyuan'Garden of Nurtured Harmony) in Chinese. It is up to now the best preserved and largest imperial gardens in China.
Later, take the subway to Olympic site where you will take a exterior look of Water Cube and Bird Nest. Later pay a visit to Temple of Heaven wihich sets in a 670-acre park. Here you will find Qinian Dian (Hall of prayer for the Good Harvests), constructed without a single nail, and one of the finest example of Chinese architecture.

Day 5 - Beijing   (B)

After enjoying your breakfast it is your free time to explore Beijing on your own pace. Here are some attractions recommended. You can visit Capital Museum, Panjiayuan Antique Market, Sanlitun Bar Street, Qianmen Dashilan or Silk Market.
