Day 1 - Beijing (No meal included)

Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center.

Day 2 - Beijing (B, L)

Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Zoo, Beijing Summer Palace

After enjoying your breakfast you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. After having lunch you will be picked up at your hotel and transfered to Beijing Zoo. Beijing Zoo was the royal garden in Ming Dynasty. Its original name is Nature Museum and West-suburb Park. It is the earliest zoo with the maximum varieties of animals in China. In the zoo, you can see the pandas. After that, you will move on to Beijing Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in the world that boasts centralized architectural masterpieces as well as scenic beauties, it was originally a retreat for emperors to escape the scorching summer heat of Beijing.

Dawanju serves Beijing and Chongqing style food as well as the famous Beijing Duck.Their service is great too.

Day 3 - Beijing (B, L, D)

Visits : Mutianyu Great Wall

Today explore the fantastic wild section of Great wall-Mutianyu Section, which is well preserved with spectacular view and has less tourists than Badaling.

In the afternoon pay a visit to Changling, one of the thirteen Ming Tombs. It is the tomb of Zhu Di, the third emperor of Ming Dynasty. This evening, you will go to taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous historied Roast Duck restaurant in China.

Quanjude is a time-honored restaurant for Beijing Roast Duck which is well known to all for its delicious taste.

Day 4 - Beijing -> Xian (B, L, D)

Visits : Temple of Heaven, The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall

After breakfast you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvest in Qing and Ming dynasties. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing. This afternoon you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Xian. After that, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is four kms south of Xi'an and many regard it as a symbol of the city. After that, go to city wall to appreciate the oldest and best preserved one in China. In the evening, you will go enjoy Tang Dynasty Show and taste chinese dumplings at the same time.

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that a restaurant tacked on to a Triple-A tourist venue will stink. And cost the earth. The wood-furnished dining room, with its high beamed ceilings and tight squeeze of tables, exudes a tavern-esqe aura that seems to tease out congeniality from all present, making for a buzzy atmosphere that borders on raucous.

Day 5 - Xian (B, L)

Visits : Terra-Cotta Warriors, Great Mosque, Shaanxi History Museum

After enjoying your breakfast visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. In the afternoon visit Shaanxi History Museum, which has a big collection of historical and cultural relics. Then move on to the Great Mosque, one of the most important mosques in China.

Lunch:Jiang Nan Restaurant
Featured with both middle China and eastern China cuisine in nice environment. Served home-made dishes.

Day 6 - Xian -> Guilin (B, L)

Visits : Elephant Trunk Hill, Wave-Subduing Hill (Fubo Hill)

Today you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Guilin.

After having lunch our guide will take you to visit the Elephant Trunk Hill & Fubo Hill.

Lunch:Guilin Qian Shui Wan Restaurant
This restaurant is located in city center,west to the libertation bridge .You can enjoy a good view of li river and Seven star park.

Day 7 - Guilin -> Yangshuo -> Guilin (B, L)

This morning make this day with trip to Li River Cruise to witness the spectacular limestone rock formations and rural life along the riverbanks. After lunch, stop at Yangshuo, a small town set in the lush rice paddies and surrounded by meandering rivers and limestone peaks. After that, then be free at leisure. you will be transferred to Guilin by private car.

Day 8 - Guilin -> Shanghai (B, L)

Visits : Reed Flute Cave(Lu Di Yan)

After breakfast pay a visit to Reed Flute Cave. Reed Flute Cave is known as a Palace of Natural Art. It is full of stalactites and stalagmites in various shapes and sizes, which, with a multicolored lighting system, resemble a Chinese-version story of Journey to the Center of the Earth. The cave was also a frequent refuge for the local people escaping bandits and war in the past. After lunch you will be transferred to the airport and take flight to Shanghai.

The restaurant is close to the Li River. It serves both western food and Chinese food.

Day 9 - Shanghai (B, L, D)

Visits : The Bund, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Old Street, Yuyuan Garden

Today visit Shanghai Museum and People's Square. Then pay a visit to the Bund and later on enoy a cruise trip on the Huangpu River.

This afternoon you will visit Yu Garden (Yu Yuan), an age-old garden where you can get close touch with Chinese traditional architecture. Then you will have a free walk around Shanghai Old Street. In the evening, you will enjoy a fantastic acrobatic performance.

Lunch:A Ying Bao Restaurant
The restaurant is located No. 239 Shanxi South Road Huangpu District. It mainly serves Shanghai local dishes. It is popular among local people for its braised food.
Dinner:Ren jian Bi Feng Tang Restaurant
In the restaurant, you will taste authentic local Shanghai cuisines.

Day 10 - Shanghai (B)

Free till being transfered to the airport. End of the fabulous tour in China.

I m afraid a Chinese emperor would have found his household too big - it is at least one kilometer from Tian anmen Gate to Qianqinggong.

The flight to Guilin was delayed, and we were stranded at Xian airport for two hours plus. Our guide explained it rains a bit too much in Guilin in the summer. But the misty scenery after a rain was indeed a beautiful sight there. I enjoyed the boat trip on the Lichiang River very much.
