This morning, you will be driven to Langzhong. Upon arrival, your first step is to pay a visit to General Zhangfei Temple (Hanhuanhou Temple) to obtain a better knowledge of Three Kingdom culture in ancient Chinese history. Then go to Chuanbeidao Gongyuan (the ancient exam rooms) to feel the ancient exam atmosphere. Right after that you will see the No.1 Pavilion in Langzhong---Huaguang Pavilion to get a bird s-eye view of the entire ancient city. Later your guide will take you to visit the Folklore Exhibition where you are able to see many interesting folklorist objects. Then visit a local Characteristic Courtyard. At night you may walk along the old streets, appreciate the night scene, do some shopping in local silk stores and taste the famous Baoning vinegar and Zhangfei beef, etc.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Jian Men Guan. After that, visit Jianmen Pass, the No. 1 Pass as known in China. You will get onto Guanlou (Observation Tower used in ancient China) to get a breath-taking view of the mountain peaks at far. After having lunch visit the Tomb of General Jiangwei, Statue of Jiangwei and appreciate the surrounding beautiful scenery. On the way you will pass through Jiangwei Bridge and Stalagmite Peak.
This morning, you will be driven through Cuiyun Corridor scenic area, which enjoys the fame of the Soul on Sichuan Road. It is shaded by over 8000 cypress trees lining on both sides of the road formulating a natural green arch.
After lunch you will be driven back to Chongqing. End of your memorable tour.
