Visits : Mawangdui Han Tombs, Yuelu Academy

Pick you up at Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province. According to historical records Changsha is over 3,000 years old. Visit to Yuelu Academy of Classical Learning and the Mawangdui Tombs. Yuelu Academy is one of the four famous academies in China; the Yuelu Academy is now listed as a then-famous academy.   In the afternoon, drive to Juzi Island. Juzi (means orange) Island is located in the midstrem of the Xiangjiang River in Changsha City. It is one of the fluvial alluvions in the in the lower reaches of the Xiangjiang River. The island faces Yuelu Mountain on the west and Changsha City on the east.  The island is about 5km long with its narrowest part being about meters and the widest being about 140 meters. The long island is the location of the "Jiangtian Muxue" one of the Eight Scenes of XiaoXiang, where Mr. Mao Zedong wrote the poem "Qinyuanchun * Changsha".   After the tours, back to your hotel.
