This morning, you will be picked up at 8:30AM from your hotel. Then, you will be transferred to Giant Pandas Breeding Base. Located just 10 km from downtown Chengdu, the breeding base covers a land area of 100 hectares with easy traffic access. Originally the giant pandas were living in the dense forest on the mountains around Chengdu, but the deteriorating natural environment made their life become miserable. Now the breeding base is a man-made safe haven for the pandas.

Taste your lunch at a local restaurant

This afternoon, you will continue to visit the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu which is the former residence of famous Tang dynasty poet--Du Fu. Du Fu is one of the greatest Chinese poets in history and he is regarded as the "King of Poem".

After that, you will be transferred to visit Wuhou Temple which is located on the outskirts of Chengdu City. The Wuhou Temple (Wuhouci) was built in the sixth century to commemorate Zhuge Liang (Kongming), known for his great wisdom. As the Premier of the Shu, one of the "Three Kingdoms" in of 221-263A.D., he was given the title "Wu Hou" (Premier). It was rebuilt on the same location by Emperor Kangxi in the early Qing Dynasty (1616 ~ 1911A.D.).

Transfer you back to your hotel and end your facinating trip.
