Visits : Beijing Summer Palace
Upon your arrival in Tianjin Xingang port, you will meet our guide and be driven to Beijing. After that, visit the Summer Palace, which used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi. It is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water.
Visits : Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Drum Tower(Gulou), Beijing Hutong
After breakfast pay a visit to Jingshan Park (also known as Coal Hill Park) which is situated just opposite the north gate of the Forbidden City. It is the best place to have a bird's eye view of the Forbidden City, then to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. This afternoon pay a visit to Drum Tower and Old Hutongs. This evening, you will go to taste Beijing Roast Duck in Quanjude which is a famous historied Roast Duck restaurant in China.
Visits : Simatai Great Wall
After enjoying your breakfast drive 120 km to Simatai section of the Great Wall (about 2 1/2 hours' drive). Great Wall Simatai Section is the only section that keeps the original features of the Ming Great Wall. Here you are going to have a good hiking enjoying the scenery. This evening, enjoy the fantastic Beijing Opera(seat in the VIP area).
Visits : Temple of Heaven
Today you will visit the Temple of Heaven where emperors conducted religious rituals and prayed for good harvest in Qing and Ming dynasties. It is one of the most important landmarks of Beijing. you will be transfered to the airport and take flight back home or next destination country.
