Our ACT guide will meet you at your hotel in Beijing at departure time. Walk to the nearest subway station (Remark: you will pay the taxi fee if you take a taxi to the subway station.)
Firstly, by Line 5, ride to Tiantan Station for Temple of Heaven, a site for the emperors to offer sacrifices to heaven during the Ming Dynasty; again to take Line 5 northward for Lama Temple, the most impressive Buddhist temple and the largest and best-preserved lamasery of Yellow Sect in Beijing.

Then, have a walk along the famous Chengxian Street (some part is also called Guozijian Jie), Walking along it west till enter to the commercial road - Andingmennei Dajie, turn right (west) and walk to the Drum Tower. Following, go to Shichahai area for Hutong Tour by rickshaw. Your lunch will be arranged at a local family.
After lunch, again take the rickshaw to the Zhang Zi Zhong subway Station for the ride to Tiananmen Square, the largest city square of such kind in the world; walk north to the Square is Forbidden City, known as the Imperial Palace Museum and the seat of Imperial power for 500 years.

Chengxian Street, an east-west roadway started about 700 years ago with its structures built in line with ancient Chinese customs, is one of the China's most important humanist centers, standing the Confucius Temple and Guozijian (Imperial College). To the west, you will come across Kong Miao (Temple of Confucius) and the neighboring Guozijian (Imperial Academy).
