Beijing Liao Jin City Wall Museum, a national-level museum under the control of the central government of China, houses an ancient Watergate during Great Jin Empire which confronted Southern Song Dynasty for about 100 years. The ancient ruins and unearthed cultural relics in it provide us more for imagining the life in Liao and Jin Dynasties around eight hundred years ago.

Museum of the Dabaotai (Beijing Dabaotai Xi Han Dynasty Tomb Museum), an emperor burial site museum, was firstly constructed over 2000 years ago in the underground palace of Liu Jian (73 B.C. to 45 B.C.), who was the Guanyanqing Feudal Prince in the Western Han Dynasty. Its main contents on show cover the underground site, unearthed culture relics and exhibition of China mausoleums for the emperors in various Dynasties.

Lugouqiao Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall (Memorial Hall of Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War), located next to Marco Polo Bridge (Lugouqiao), commemorates the Lugouqiao Incident that broke out on July 7, 1937 when Japan started the all war against China and the victory of anti-Japanese war.
The Marco Polo Bridge (Lugouqiao), as one of the oldest bridges in the world, dates from Liao Dynasty (911-1125). It spans a dry river bed; the bridge is entirely of stone and without the benefit of mortar.
