Beijing Cuisine Tour

Picked up from your hotel and transferred to Beijing Cooking School in the morning. There you will watch from beginning to end how the chef prepares and makes the dishes and learn the secrets of excellent Chinese cooking. Then you will have the chance to prepare one dish yourself with the help of the experts from the school. Lunch will be at the school canteen.

In the afternoon you will visit a market to learn about Chinese vegetables, meats and various of spices that make Chinese cooking special.

Finally you will go to Tianjin Baijiaoyuan Restaurant to see how Chinese Jiaozi (Dumping) is made and enjoy a Jiaozi dinner. Return to your hotel.

As a traditional Chinese Food, Jiaozi (Chinese Dumpling) is essential during holidays in Northern China. And Jiaozi becomes one of the most widely loved foods in China. Because of the shape of Jiaozi which is very similar to ancient Chinese gold or silver ingots, they symbolize wealth. Thus, Jiaozi is one of the most important foods in Chinese New Year.
