This morning, This morning take a train to Chengde. After having lunch visit the majestic Summer Resort, the largest royal landscape in China today, enveloped within a smaller version of the Great Wall.
Today take a half-day tour visitng the largest temple group in China - the Eight Outer Temples. This morning you will visit two of them: Temple of the Wooden Buddha and Putuozongcheng Temple. The latter is a dramatic replica of the Potala Palace in Tibet and time to browse the local markets. In the afternoon head for the railway station and take a safe, fast and comfortable train ride to Beijing.
