Hangzhou-Bay Bridge, the longest cross-sea bridge all round the world will be opened on May 1. Its opening will greatly shorten the distance from Ningbo to Shanghai. The time-consumption will reduce to two and a half hour soon. It will be more convenient than going by trains

From the opening day, the buses will be regularized from Shanghai south station of long-distance bus to Ningbo. The total amount of regular buses is up to 60 each day. The time-span will be shortened to 10 minutes or 15 minutes, and the off-duty time of the last bus will be carried forward 21:30 per day.

The starting point of Hangzhou Bay Bridge is Haiyan of Jiaxing in the north and the terminal is Cixi in Ningbo. The total length of the bridge is 100 kilometers. It is the world’s longest cross-sea bridge. The express-way design with six roadways is adopted in Bridge construction. The designed speed limit is 100 kilometers. The service life is 100 years.
