Variation of Terms and Conditions
These terms and Conditions may vary from time to time. Absolute China Tours reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice. If they are revised, we will post the revised version on this site. Please re-read these terms and conditions even if you have previously used this site.
If you purchased any China Tour services, the terms and conditions of China Hotel and China Flight together shall constitute the entire understanding between you and Absolute China Tours relating to your China Tour .

1. Personal expenses (such as room service, minibar snacks, laundry, telephone calls…etc). Such fees will be charged when you check-out.
2. Hotel deposit upon check-in.
-China Cruise
Include:
1. Cruise accommodation
The cruise accommodation is based on two persons sharing one cabin with private facilities in all relevant locations. If a single client requests a cabin alone, the single cabin supplement will be charged.
2. The cruise shore excursion in groups and daily activities .
These activities are subject to the arrangements made by the cruise company and subject to change without prior notice.
3. Food & beverage
On the cruise daily American breakfast, Chinese lunch and dinner are served. The beverage arrangements are subject to policies of different cruise companies.
Exclude:
1. Service fees, charges for optional incidentals (such as telephone calls ,laundry ,or drinks on the cruise ) The lodging will assess these fees, charges, and surcharges upon check-out .

6. Hotels (twin share basis) as listed in the itinerary. If a single room is required, the single room supplement will be charged.

1、Tips or gratuities to guides and drivers
2、Fees of Cable car;

(2)Private city tours
Price Includes:
1. English-speaking guide or other language speaking guide on request.
2. Hotel pick-up & drop-off service of private vehicle with driver.
3. Entrance fees of the sites as mentioned in the itinerary
4. Chinese lunch if included.
Price Excludes:
1、Tips or gratuities to guides and drivers
2、Services not mentioned in the itnerary;
3、Personal expenses.
Note:
1. The above rates are effective from Feb 2008 to Jan 2009 unless otherwise stated..
2. Child rates will be offered on request.
3. Reservation should be made 7 days before departure date.
4. Changes or cancellation can only be made 3 days before departure date.
5. Please be noted that prices are subject to change without prior notice.
6. 100% cancellation fee will be made for no shows for all confirmed bookings.
Price Description
Note:
1.Vehicle and driver
If you book Private Tour with Absolute China Tours, all the guide and vehicle transfer service are privately for you, your family or your friends. No other participants will be in your group.
If you choose Join-in Tour or Seat-in-Coach Tour, you will share one coach and guide with other travelers.
2.Entrance fees
Entrance fees for all the sightseeing listed in each program are based on the rate of 2007, which are subject to change. If the entrance fees for the places to be visited are raised in 2008, Absolute China Tours will adjust our selling price accordingly.
3.Meals as listed
For the land tour in each city, daily American breakfast is served in hotels in most cities except some remote areas where only Chinese breakfast is available , and Chinese lunch and/or dinner will be served with one cup of soft drink in restaurant.
4.Tour guide
Local English-speaking guide (or other languages on request).
5.Transfers
Transfers for you and the group between airports, hotels and all sightseeing spots. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
6.Accommodation
The hotel accommodation is based on two people sharing one standard twin room. If a single room is requested, the single supplement will be charged.
7.Domestic train and flight tickets
The economy-class airfare of China flights as specified in the itinerary and airport tax & fuel surcharges are included. Domestic train of soft seat or soft sleeper as listed unless otherwise stated.
8.Service charge & Government taxes
Service charge, government taxes and the city construction fees are included.
9.Cruise
The cruise accommodation is on double occupancy basis. The price includes the accommodations, daily meals and scheduled shore excursions.
10.Tibet Travel Permit
The Tibet Travel Permit fee is included if your itinerary includes Tibet.
We understand that some of you may have to cancel your trip to China for certain reason. Therefore if you wish to cancel your booking with us we need to receive your request in written form, and all vouchers or tickets returned to us. However, not all bookings can be cancelled and cancellation fee will be added. Please refer to the Rules and Restrictions at the time of booking.
-China Flight
The cancellation policy varies by different Airline Company. Please read the "Rules & Restrictions"of different flights when you make the reservation. Airlines will charge a cancellation fee when you cancel your booking. Some discount tickets are completely non-refundable.
-China Train
Once the train ticket is issued, it CANNOT be cancelled .If you cancel your booking, there will be 100% cancellation charge.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

This is ONLY applicable to China domestic trains. The trains to Hong Kong have special policy for cancellation. Please confirm the booking details with your travel advisors.
-China Cruise
The payment for the Yangtze River Cruise can not be refunded if the cancellation notice is received less than 35 days prior to the date of the cruise.
-China Tour
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

Yangtze River Cruise fare can’t be refunded if you cancel within 35 days before departure. No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the full payment
If a traveler cancelled while a tour is in progress, unused services can't be refunded.If a traveler missed any programs because of early departure and late arrival, unused services can't be refunded.
-If you change your itinerary
Alternations to your itinerary before confirmation are processed free of charge. We always intend to provide the best tour possible for you. If you want to change some details of your itinerary such as adding scenic spots, revising your daily schedule or changing to a new hotel after confirmation, we will do our best to help after we check the possibility and availability. Since accommodation is reserved several weeks in advance, we cannot guarantee all your request can be satisfied. You are required to pay an extra cost if your new request is received.
-If we change your itinerary
We aim to provide accommodation for you as booked, but sometimes we do have to make changes:
a. If events that is out of our control happen, such as war, fire, epidemics, health risks, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions…etc, we have to change your itinerary . You will have to pay the extra cost if there is any price difference.
b. If any extra fees caused by third parties such as cruise operators, airlines and hotels, you should pay the extra cost.
c. Absolute China Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or land transportation changes, and/or events beyond our control make such alteration necessary
-Deposit & Final payment
1.A non-refundable deposit of 100USD is required at the time a reservation is confirmed.
2.The full &/or final payment is required 30 days before departure for your China tour.
3.Should the tour booked within 30 days before departure for your China tour, full payment is required
-Methods of Payment

1. Wire transfer payment is strongly recommended as it’s the safest way of payment.

Note:
If you choose to pay by credit card online via PayPal, please be kindly advised that a 4% out of your total tour cost will have to be added as bank charges. However there is no additional charge from us if your payment is made by T/T(Telegraphic Transfer).
Domestic flights
In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.

Cruises
No special requirement.
Travel Documentation
All clients must be in possession of a valid passport which must have at least six months of remaining validity and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation in hand is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. Absolute China Tours is not reliable for your failure to obtain appropriate documentation.
As Tibet has unique geography,climate,religion and traffic considerations, it has not been fully opened to foreign travelers. Travelers must obtain a Tibet Travel Permit before travelling to Tibetan areas.
Travelers must obtain Tibet Travel Permit before buying plane or train tickets. Our travel advisors will arrange an itinerary for you and assist you to get such permit.
Note:
All kinds of people can get Tibet Travel Permit from our travel service except diplomats,journalists and government officials. These people should travel to Tibet under the arrangement by the Foreign Affairs Office of Tibet local government.
There are lots of international travel risks while traveling. Travelers should be familiar with the applicable health requirements to the areas they intend to visit. It is your solely responsibility to check the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Altitude sickness may develop in travelers who ascend rapidly to altitudes greater than 2500 m. When you travel to Tibet or parts of Sichuan and Yunnan Province of China,make sure your blood pressure and heart condition is normal. A doctor's certificate is required if you will go to Tibet.
If you have a complaint about the service Absolute China Tours provided, please immediately notify the local guide and contact your travel advisor. We will notify the local supplier of such complaints to avoid the possible similar problems happening again during your trip.
If you are still not satisfied and wish to claim for compensation,you must sent the letter of claim by email, fax or regular mail within 15 days from the end of your tour to allow your complaint to be investigated properly. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Absolute China Tours will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.
All your tour is covered by Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance,which is regulated by the China National Tourism Administration. This insurance covers only accidents occurring during the activities arranged by a travel agency, It does not cover mishaps or physical problems occurring outside the guided tour period or caused by clients themselves. We recommend you purchase travel insurance beyond the coverage of the Agency policy in your home country before departure.
Our Responsibility & Liability
The responsibility of Absolute China Tours's agents, parent company and affiliated companies is strictly limited. As a tour operator, we organize, promote, and sell tour programs consisting a good range of services, including guide service, ground transportation, air transportation, water transportation, excursions and accommodations that we purchase or reserve from various suppliers. The suppliers providing services for our tour programs are independent contractors and they are not agents or employees of ours.
To the extent that we are involved in booking air and/or cruise transportation for you, we act as your agent and not as an agent for the airline and/or cruise companies. However, we promise that we are responsible for the willful or negligent acts of our partner travel agents for the land services.
Absolute China Tours will take all benefits and all losses of any fluctuations, lower or higher in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges after we have received the full payment from you. And we reserve the right to correct promotional or pricing errors or to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency devaluation, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges before we receive your reservation deposit.
Absolute China Tours reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary whenever we deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the other tour participants, or to cancel a tour at any time. We will refund any unused fund to tour participants.
Absolute China Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure.
Absolute China Tours shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property in connection with climatic conditions, fire hazard, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond our control. Neither Absolute China Tours nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
Absolute Chin Tours shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or the failure of any equipment operated by any suppliers such as transportation carriers, cruise, and hotels, or any other party not directly owned or controlled by Absolute China Tours.
Absolute China Tours is not responsible for a client's failure to comply with customs regulations.Absolute China Tours is not responsible for the theft or lost of any customer's valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
