The transfer ends up the backward state of the money exchange industry and opens up a new era for the financial industry. Before the modern banking system was established, Rishengchang Money Transfers had a great influence on the Chinese economy. Now the Rishengchang Money Transfers is the Chinese Note Museum, which tells the development history of Chinese bank industry.

The house faces north and is 65 meters long and 20 meters wide. It is listed as one of the Provincial Key Cultural Relics by Shanxi Provincial Government in December, 1995. The Rishengchang Money Transfers we see today was restored in 1995.
