Ningbo Bridge Ecological Farm

 

 

It is mere one kilometer west of the constructional headquarter of Hangzhou Bay Bridge in Cixi City (慈溪市). The Ningbo Bridge Ecological Agriculture Ltd. administers it and in charge of its construction. It is a characteristic agricultural resort featuring its emphasis on ecology and nature. On the farm, there are a large variety of plants. Ornamental trees such as Canadian date palm, crape myrtle and osmanthus fragrance as many as more than 100 species are among them. At the river bank, there stand pavilions, terraces, bridges, rockeries, fountains and other ancient constructions. According to the function and location, the whole complex is divided into seven sections: comprehensive service section, leisure and entertainment section, farm culture section, agricultural demonstration section, aquiculture section, livestock and poultry breeding section and Spark Training Center. 

Comprehensive service section includes ecological restaurants, ecological reception room and meeting room, aquatic balconies, ecological parking lots etc. Each balcony in the ecological restaurant is with unique design in its own way. The restaurant engages state-level superb chef, strongly recommends its specialties such as green vegetables, seafood, venison and other health care food and offers warm hearted and considerate service to customers. In the leisure and entertainment section, you can enjoy fishing with a hook and line at the bank or in a cruising boat. The farm culture section could hold a great number of tourists to take part in calligraphy and picture shows, concerts and other activities. If you would like to have self-enjoyment, you could help yourself picking, cooking and tasting those organic green vegetables in the agricultural demonstration section. The same is as in aquiculture section, you could feast both your eyes and stomach on those special species of fishes and shrimps.
