Huangshan Mountain- A World Heritage in China

 Huangshan Mountain, also called Yellow Mountain, is located in East China, the southern area of Anhui Province. Its location is called Huangshan City, which is a city directly named in the title of Huangshan Mountain. Huangshan Mountain is extremely famous for its landscape and time-honored culture. It is even the best and most famous Mountain in Asia, even in the world. As one of the World Cultural and Natural Heritages in China, it is worth of sightseeing and stay. Besides, the old towns with the original form also fascinate you. The beautiful nature, the traditional lifestyle, the diverse custom and the attractive local culture will tell you it is a most valuable tour here. Huangshan city is one of provincial cites, and it is located in the southern part of Anhui Province. Huangshan city is famous for its world-famous tourist attraction. Huangshan Mountain (some people call this mountain to be God’s miniascape). Huangshan Mountain is one of Chinese famous scenic spots popularizing all round the world.

The main peak of Huangshan Mountain is Lotus peak with the height of 1864.8 meters. Because Huangshan Mountian belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate and its high mountain and deep valley, the climate here is changing all the time. Meanwhile, the sharp difference between the north slope and south slope, the predominant role of regional change is seeable in climate change. Hence, the density of cloud and mist, the humidity and precipitation is much clearer than other places. Huangshan Mountian assembles the merits of the famous mountains in China, such as the magnificence of Mt. Tai, steepness of Mt. Huashan(in Shaanxi province), clouds and fog of Hengshan, waterfalls of Lushan Mountian, and beauty of Mt. Emei.

The famous traveling expert and geographers Xu Xiake once highly spoke of the charm of Huangshan Mountain. He said: We don’t travel mountains any more after seeing five great Mountains, but after we see Huangshan Mountain, we do not want to see five great mountains any more! Huangshan Mountain is thought of as the first greatest mountain on earth! There are no peaks are not stony, no pine trees are not on the stones and no strangeness does not belong to pine trees! So in a word, Huangshan Mountain is famous for its strange pine trees, astonishing stones, cloud sea and hotspring. There are two lakes, three waterfalls, sixteen springs and twenty-four streams are harmoniously exiting together! The diversity of sceneries of Huangshan Mountain is showing each season.

Huangshan Mountain is also considered as the natural zoo and natural plant park. There are nearly 1500 kinds of plants, 500 kinds of animals and the top-class summer resort. In 1990, Huangshan Mountain was listed into the List of World Cultural and Natural Heritages of UNESCO. In 2004, Huangshan Mountian was chosen to be one of World Geologic-parks. 

Climate 
Huangshan Mountain climate belongs to subtropical monsoon climate. Many rainy days per year is available, it is hot in summer and cold in winter, in summer the highest temperature is 27 degrees and minus 22 degrees in winter. The annual temperature is 7.8 degrees.

Scenery
Huangshan Mountain is extensively appraised during the peak time of China’s literature and art. It is famous as the first great mountain in China. Its everlasting scenery attracts many travelers, poets, painters and photographers! In Huangshan Mountain, the different landscape in different season shows its attractiveness, you can see the heavenly landscape when you seem standing on the heaven and talk to the world, and you can see the Buddha and its attractive light. From March to May, it is the time for seeing multiple flowers, the green trees and flying birds. From June to August, it is time for preventing sunstroke and seeing pine trees and fogs. From September to November, it is the time for seeing green pine trees, white stone, red maples and yellow chrysanthemum. From Dec to Feb, it is the time for seeing ice-flowers and mist pine trees, and it is the golden time for seeing the winter world of Huangshan Mountain. There are also many impressive ancient architecture that add more greatness to this great Mountain!

Travel advice
1, the high mountain with heavy wind, and the coldness in clear on the mountains , so it is better to wear the thick coat or parka and the warmth-keeping hats
2, much snow and rain in winter, so it is better to wear the travel shoes and the grass shoes to prevent slipping, in the meantime, don’t forget the walking-stick and gloves.
3, if you can not bear the tiredness, you could choose cable car to see the landscape.
4, some wines for dinner is available for coldness-prevention in the open air.
