Bao family private garden

  originally was Bao Qiyun’s private garden, who was the famous businessman and the official specially administrated salt industry. This garden is the gem of Chinese private garden collectively characterized of ancient gardening feature of Huizhou and Huizhou style miniascape. It is equally famous with Zhuozheng garden, Lingering Garden, lion Grove Garden of Suzhou, Meiyuan garden and Liyuan garden of Wuxi. It was collapsed by the war between governmental troops and uprising army of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Currently it was reestablished. Now it is China’s largest private garden and miniascape appreciation base. And it has been considered to be one of three private garden in Southern China. Now it has been applied for world intangible heritages and the Guinness World Records. It covers roughly 350 mu and collects around 10,000 miniascapes. The main attractions include:Miniascape Garden, Grand Lawn, Entrance Square, Huizhou culture Exhibition Hall( the real inscriptions of painters and calligraphers in different generations and four essences of book house ).
