Rewake Buddha Temple Ruins located in the vast desert, more than 50 kilometers away from northwest Luopu County Seat is a well-known culture relic of Buddhism under a high-rate protection of local autonomous region. Rewake Buddha Temple Ruins is a typical Buddhist architectural centering on pagoda.

The Temple Ruins is a square-like type, and there is a pagoda with roughly 10 meters high. Both the internality and externality of the walls are full of the frescos. The grandest Buddha statue is around 3 meters high. It is still distinguishable though mostly ruined. Each side of the walls is 45 meters long, and visitors can basically view its original scale and structure. During the early period of the 20th century, British adventurer, Stein, stole a massive of rare treasures from this temple. Up to today, visitors still can find many relics of clay-made statues, pieces of colored porcelains and ancient coins. Besides, there is still a small-size temple and the former sites of houses outside this grand temple.
