Huiyuan Garden

 


Huiyuan Garden was specially established to be a large-scale commemorating garden for greeting the fifth anniversary of PRC’s foundation. Huiyuan Garden is located in the economic development zone in the southern part of Hefei city, in the east, there is the modern-style Pearl Square, International Exhibition Center and the European-style Street. In the west, there is the Heifei Universiy Town.

The total are of Huayuan Garden is more than 300 mu. The whole structure and layout of the garden is basically following the Anhui Administration Zone. Yangtze River and Huaihe River go across it. In the Wanbei section of garden of the east is been characterized of the royal garden architectural style. Wannan section of garden of the west is highlighted of the southern style buildings. In the middle is the modern-style Century Bridge and Century Square. In the corresponding area, seventeen cities establish their own symbolized buildings which fully show their uniqueness. They are relatively independent and also act as a whole. Huiyuan Garden is a commemorating and sightseeing garden played the role of Anhui Exhibition and landscape enjoying. This is a good place for travelers to learn much about Anhui and its people.
