Zhejiang Provincial Museum

Zhejiang Provincial Museum is a regional museum, located at the south of the picturesque Solitary Island and quite near to various sightseeing spots along the West Lake. Originally built in 1929, it is a courtyard-style architecture featuring a garden south of the Yangtze River. It was renovated and expanded in 1993.

The museum displays the famous Neolithic (Hemudu) relics, which were excavated in Yuyao County, Ningbo,China, and exhibits a comprehensive collection of bronze wares, vessels as well as paintings from different dynasties. It has a collection of over 100,000 pieces of cultural and historical relics and heritage of all kinds.
