It is also one of the best tourist attractions in Hunan province. Museum has diversities of cultural and historic collections, particularly famous for its relics of Ma Wang Du Mausoleum of Han Dynasty, The Bronze Wares of Shang and Zhou Dynasties, The Cultural Relics of Chu Kingdom, Porcelains of Dynasties, Modern Cultural Relics as well as the Works of Calligraphy and Painting. Hunan Provincial Museum has a better indoor and outside environment. After several years’ restorations, the halls and exhibition centers are well preserved strongly showing the tradition, elegance and simplicity of classical buildings, and today, Hunan Provincial Museum has become the symbol of Ancient City of Changsha.
